    After a transfer by car to the rangers’ gate, begin a challenging ride on dirt roads towards Tarakea, near the Kenya-Tanzania border.

    The final day offers an exciting downhill ride through Sanya Juu to Boma N’gombe, on the main Arusha-Moshi road.

    At Boma N’gombe, load the bikes into the vehicle for a transfer back to Moshi or Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward journey.

  7. Day 7 Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate
    • Elevation: 3,720m (12,205ft) to 1,860m (6,102ft)
    • Descend to Marangu Gate, sign out, and receive summit certificates
    • Distance: 20 km (12.4 miles)
    • Trekking time: 5-7 hours
    • Transfer back to Moshi, celebrate your achievement
